Beware the Black Widow and Brown Recluse
These two spiders can be deadly and are prevalent in our region. Remove these poisonous spiders from your property with help from Tactical Pest and Termite Solutions
Brown Recluse Spiders
The venom of a Brown Recluse destroys the walls of blood vessels near a bite, sometimes causing large skin ulcers. A bite wound may become infected, which can lead to death. Also called violin spiders, due to a dark violin-shaped design on the front of its body, they’ll nest in undisturbed areas.
Black Widow Spiders
The female Black Widow is shiny black with a reddish to yellow hourglass design under its abdomen. The male is seldom detected as it is killed and eaten by the female after mating. Responsible for more than 2,500 visits to U.S. poison control annually, the Black Widow’s bite can be fatal to very small children and the elderly.
